Pokagon Potawatomi Inn Repairs

Work has begun at the historic Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park near Fremont, Indiana. The park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was created in 1925. The Inn, constructed in 1927, overlooks the beautiful Lake James. BCR’s work, repairing the indoor pool/rear plaza addition, involves a complex process of shoring the existing precast double-tee plaza structure to allow the repair and replacement of the exterior walls and steel lintels. In addition, the topping slab on the plaza will be removed, new waterproofing installed, and the topping slab reinstalled. BCR is proud to preserve this piece of Indiana history.
