BCR is proud to restore the façade of the historic Hancock County Courthouse in Greenfield, Indiana.
Built in 1897, the courthouse is a landmark of Romanesque Revival architecture. Its massive Indiana limestone walls, round-arched windows, and iconic clock tower have stood as symbols of Hancock County for more than 125 years.
Our work included repairs to the façade, with one unique challenge—accessing the soaring tower. To reach areas that would otherwise require extensive scaffolding, our team is using crane baskets to safely complete the restoration.
We’re honored to help preserve this Indiana treasure so it can continue serving the community for generations to come.
